Research at North Florida EM

Introducing our new research coordinator, Dr. Shirlly Zhou! We are so excited to have her as part of our team and we are ready to ramp up our research here at North Florida EM! Our mission is to allow residents to pursue their own research interests and/or participate in research with a mentoring faculty member.

We have multiple research projects going on at any given moment and our emergency department setting provides a multitude of opportunities for research including projects like case reports, surveys, quality improvement endeavors, and anything else that peaks the interest of our residents.
