Still searching for the right research director, our faculty haven’t slowed down a bit. Currently, Dr. Hoelle is acting research director and we have plenty of resources and ongoing projects. Our mission here is to be inclusive and allow all of the residents to pursue their own research interests or participate with a mentoring faculty.

  • HCA and UCF libraries provide online access to more than 4000 e-journals and e-books as well as clinical evidence resources such as UpToDate, Clinical Pharmacology, etc.
  • Ovid and OvidMD, as well as, an HCA customized PubMed portal make full article access even easier.
  • We have access to PhD biostatisticians with expertise in database research, a scientific writer and interdisciplinary specialists all here to assist you with your research interests.
  • HCA supports and has made available an enterprise-wide, comprehensive, highly scalable data warehouse. The GME Research Data Warehouse (GMERDW) houses clinical and financial data from across the country, and includes both inpatient and outpatient, updated 6 times a day and provides validated data from the past 48 months.
